Today I want to be...

An engineer of some sort. Something exotic sounding.

So In a boring conversation, I can say, "Hello, I'm a geological engineer."

"Hello, I'm a mining enineer"

"Hello, I'm a metallurgical engineer."

But....what if there's no job opportunities in those areas? Hmmmm....

No job opportunities? I believe those are some of the hottest engineering jobs there are right now. Go for it!

Huh?
"I'm a chemical engineer" - not exotic enough for you? How many do you know? My guess is one.
If it is just for jobs, go for nuclear. All the Nuc-E's are about to retire...

Or you could always just work for SOS staffing with me. Or you could be a lifeguard for the rest of your life. What could be better? Golden tans, crystal waters, and the pride of saving lives every single day... oh dear.
Maybe you should become a chemistry professor.

Chemical engineer is too...difficult for me. Chemistry is hard! :) Not that that's a bad thing.
I hope you're kidding about the Nuclear engineering...because I actually looked into it, and the closest school that offers that major is in Albuquerque.

I'm now leaning towards civil engineering, in the environmental area. I'd like to help make humans' impact on the world be less...dramatic and harmful. If I really want to do that, that is...
