Only one who can help me

Last night was one of those nights.

Like when I was young, I always thought that Obi wan kenobi was "Only one who can help me." That's what I heard when Princess Leia said it, and it stuck for the rest of the movie, even though it didn't make sense when Luke said it or Han Solo.

We were talking about dad's choking experiences yesterday, including the one involving black licorice pigs. He managed to pull over his car, lean on the door, and well, he's alive today. As we were being vocally amazed, my dad said "and all with a black hat, too."
Real phrase: "and all without blacking out too."

Last night I overheard exerpts of a conversation between Mom and Dad. My interest perked when I heard the daunting phrase "hopeless destruction." Turns out, wasn't that exciting.
Real phrase: "owner's instruction" (referring to either the wood chipper or the tiller. I don't remember.)

And there's the words I always read but never say. The stupid word I couldn't pronounce today was neopolitan ice cream. I kept saying "neo-politician."

This is my life everyday.

I didn't hear about the choking episode...glad he managed to get it out...it seems that mom and dad have an affinity for chocking on things..,don't you think?
As for your missing things, I think it just livens up things when things get misinterpreted.
